Larry Lavern Perski, age 78 of Manistee, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan.
On January 3, 1947, Larry was born in Manistee, Michigan, the son of the late Eugene and Charlotte (Miller) Perski. He graduated from Manistee High School. On April 20, 1968, in Manistee, Larry married Rose Marie Kraus, and they shared 56 loving years together.
He was a machine painter for Michigan Tool Co from 1966 until the company closed in 1981.
Larry enjoyed spending his time riding dune buggies and working on cars. He was quite the handyman and had built their homes.
Larry is survived by his wife, Rose Marie; son Kurt (Karen Levinson); daughter Laura; grandsons Kyle, Alex, Zach, and Morgan; great-grandchildren Brantley and Rosalyn; siblings Kathy Wittig, Linda Weigel, Gene Perski, Mary Herbert, and Debbie Skocelas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother Brian.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
