Andrew Otanez Obituary

Andrew N. Otanez Born October 24, 1986, died unexpectedly March 9, 2016. Andrew was a lifelong resident of San Rafael, where he attended local public schools. He was passionate about basketball, soccer and dogs. He was working toward his career goal of becoming a veterinary technician by taking courses at the College of Marin. Andrew is survived by his loving parents, Heather and Luis Otanez of San Rafael, his five siblings: Chris (Dana) of Santa Barbara, Marty (Michelle) of Denver, Greg (Sarah) of Benicia, Jenny of Palo Alto, and Ben of Terra Linda, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Andrew will be remembered by his family and friends for his good heart, kindness, loyalty, and daily walks around Terra Linda with his beloved dog, Thumper. In lieu of flowers please donate in Andrew's name to Christ Presbyterian Church in Terra Linda San Rafael or to The Marin Humane Society. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Christ Presbyterian Church in Terra Linda, 620 Del Ganado Rd., San Rafael, CA 94903.

Andrew and Thumper would come into our Pet Food Express every day to buy thumper some chicken sticks. He was so sweet and devoted to Thumper.
