Isidoro Davila Obituary
Isidoro graduated from Marlin High School, and then attended a small business trade school in Waco, Texas. With the support of his parents and his siblings, he embarked on a journey to move to Dallas, Texas to begin his professional career. Over the years, he worked for a handful of different organizations, including the City of Dallas and American National Insurance Company. He concluded his professional career working as a courier for Quest Diagnostics.
Additionally, Isidoro was a faithful and dedicated member of the Assemblies of God evangelical denomination. Over many decades, he sacrificially served the local church and international missionary efforts. His love for God and his hope in the Gospel of Jesus Christ was regularly on display.
Isidoro is preceded in death by his father, Isidoro Davila Sr.; his mother, Erlinda Davila; and his elder brother, Benjamin Davila Sr.
He is survived by his brother Joel Davila Sr., and his sisters, Irene Garza, Anita Moody, Mary Davila and Helen Jaimes. He was also loved by many nieces and nephews.
Isidoro is survived by his wife of 42 years, Delia Corina Davila; his son, Jason Davila and wife Heather and their children Thaddeus, Judah, and Delia; his daughter, Megan Davila Mossa and husband Cody and their children Edward and Everly.
Isidoro will be remembered as a loving husband, wonderful father, precious grandfather, gentle brother, and generous friend.
Services for Isidoro Davila Jr. will be on Friday, Aug. 12, 2022. Visitation and Reception (light refreshments) from 6-9 p.m. On Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service and Burial (Graveside service and burial immediately following). Both services will be held at: The Branch Church - Farmers Branch Campus, 3035 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, TX 75234
