JOSEPH H. SANDERS, JR. Joseph H. Sanders, Jr. 90, of Quincy, IL, formerly of Marshall, MO, died Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Home in Quincy. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall, with Fr. Francis Doyle officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the Kidney Foundation, Parkinson's Foundation or Quincy Senior Living Facility Activity Fund. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com Born January 7, 1935, in Marblehead, IL, he was the son of the late Joseph H. Sanders, Sr. and Dorothy Zimmerman Sanders. On February 23, 1957, he married Leota Hildebrand who preceded him in death on November 9, 2012. Joe moved his family to Marshall in 1978 where he worked at Crescent Electric Supply as a salesman and then as the store manager. Joe was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and Marshall Knights of Columbus Council 876. Survivors include one daughter, Teresa Callahan (Tony) of Kennebec, SD; son-in-law, Arthur "Buck" Failor of Gilliam, MO; four grandchildren, Aaron, Lindsay and Meghan Callahan and Quinten Failor; one brother, Jerry Sanders (Joyce) of Quincy, IL and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Joe was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Failor; one brother, Marion Rupert; and one sister, Vivian Wolter.
