John Means Obituary

John Wesley Means, 71, Marshfield, Missouri, son of Orville and Betty J. (Kysar) Means was born September 22, 1952, in Mexico, Missouri, and departed this life on December 23, 2023, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. On April 16, 1977, John was united in marriage to Sheree Cobb.

John proudly served our country in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Betty Means; his brother and sister, Ron Welschmeyer and Linda Wallerstein. John is survived by his loving wife, Sheree; his siblings, Randal Means, Susan Lewis, Jim Means, Virginia Rivers, Robert Means, Billie Gering, Betty Welschmeyer, and Crystal Eakins; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services for John Wesley Means will be held at a later date, under the direction of Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, Missouri. Online condolences may be made at www.dayfh.com.
