Roger Jensen Obituary
Roger D. Jensen, 63, Golden, Colorado died on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Halder with Monsignor Joseph Diermeier officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 am on Thursday until service time at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. A celebration of his life will follow at the shelter in Halder. Sauter / Rembs Funeral Home, Stratford is assisting the family.
Roger was born on July 8, 1951 in Marshfield to Gordon and Gladys (Steffen) Jensen. He married Diane M. Stankowski of Marathon on December 21, 1970 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
He was a member of the Wisconsin Army National Guard serving from 1971 until 1977. Roger was a talented craftsman who worked as a welder/fabricator at Felker Brothers and as a contractor for the United States government. Roger enjoyed the outdoors, visiting the family farm and woodworking. He shared his many talents with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Diane and their children, Brian Jensen of Birnamwood, Wisconsin and Kristin Jensen of Golden, Colorado. He is also survived by brothers, Gerald (Naomi) Jensen of Marshfield and James Jensen of Pittsville and a sister, Joann (Terry) Stoflet of Arpin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Lois Smith and a brother, William Jensen.

I wish to express my deepest condolences to Diane, Brian, Kristin and the rest of Rogers family and friends. I really enjoyed working with a fellow native from Wood County here in Colorado. Roger will be missed dearly at all of our future Mod Center breakfast meetings.
