Alexander Kavounas Obituary
Alex was a graduate of Wilson West Lawn High School and received his Associate Degree from Charles Morris Price School of Advertising.
Alex was a restaurant supply salesman for Ace Hotel and Bar Supply and A-1 Supply before retiring. He loved boating, swimming in the sea, archery, fishing, collecting guns, Big Band music, and spending time with his brothers and family. He served with the National Guard and was Honorably Discharged. He was a proud Republican and a patriotic American who honored the flag and the President. Alex adored his dog Beau and cats Chester and Sammy. He retired in warm, sunny Lillian, Alabama where the winters are gentle.
Survivors: Children: Hazel Beth Stahl, Thomas Kavounas, Kristen Lynn (Cumano) Kavounas, Corrine Kavounas Brothers: Nicholas A. Kavounas and his wife Cathy, Thomas E. Kavounas and wife Joyce. Alex was predeceased by a son Dr. Michael Kavounas and brother Rudy Walenta.

Dear Kavounas family,I was deeply sadden to learn of Alex's passing. I have great memories of Alex from working with him at Ace Bar Supply and our deep sea fishing trips. He was a real class act. Till we meet again.
