ANNA WAS SO LOVED BY MANY PEOPLE. I KNEW HER THROUGH WELCA AND IN GATHERING FOR ABOUT TEN YEARS. SHE ALWAYS GREETED EVERYONE WITH A SMILE AND WAS WILLING TO HELP WITH ANYTHING YOU ASKED HER TO DO. WE WILL REALLY MISS HER.

I sang on the church choir with Anna and it was FUN! She was a dear friend. She had a great sense of humor. She devoted her life and time to St John's Lutheran. I loved her....

My sincere condolences to the Kish family. My father grew up with her when he lived in Jacksonville until 1926 and saw her at work at the cement mill and the reunions. She was always smiling and pleasant. She'll be missed greatly. I pray that she remains an example to us all. God bless you all.

I remember the first time I met Anna. It was after the 10:15 and Barry proudly said I must meet Anna. I followed him into the council room and there Anna sat quietly working on what I suppose was Church business. As we approached Anna lifted her head and smiled at us pleasantly. During this first meeting Barry asked Anna to yodel! She was taken off guard but willingly set her voice into a yodeling mood and WOW she let loose a 5 minute yodel so beautifully tuned! Imagine! I was in awe of this amazing woman with such a beautiful voice who is now singing everlasting loving praise with the angels. I smile that I was fortunate to have met such an amazingly talented and loving lady. As the wind picks up and twirls amongst the trees yodeling I will think of you, Anna Kish.
