Dear Sandy and family,
Please accept our sincere condolences and deepest sympathy on Butch's passing. I have fond memories of boyhood and high school days spent together, at his home in Fullerton and mine in Helfrich Springs, wrestling team, weight lifting , football. Dottie and I shall always remember school parties and dances shared with you and Butch. How time passes!
We always look forward to your Christmas letter sharing news and pictures of your family. Not many couples have the good fortune to be married for 53 years. May happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time!

It has been over sixty years since I last saw Carroll with the Fullerton Vikings, but I have nothing but the fondest memories of him. As I recall, he had a sweet swing and certainly added to our offense. A special individual, even then.

Dear Sandy and Family: So sorry to hear of Carroll's passing. What a shock. I have many wonderful memories of our high school days. Spending time together weightlifting in my parents basement and working out at the YMCA. Fifty-three years ago he was best man in our wedding. We had a nice talk at our last class reunion.
