Tim, Shirley and family, we are sorry about the loss of Charlie. He alway made us feel welcome by offering a drink or candy. It was a pleasure talking with him about local and world news and racing. We will miss him.

Just wanted to express my deepest condolences to the family in this time of grief and deep sorrow. "Charlie" was my first cousin. (A son of my oldest uncle, Leroy). I will never forget the times of yesteryear (40's - 50's) when the family would gather at Granpop's house (322 Hanover Ave.)on the weekends (even tho I was not yet 6 years old) to play rubber horshoes or shuffleboard at the (Billy Ecks's) Carlisle Grill. These are memories that will last forever. Again, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Also, a special salute to anyone who served our country at any time.

Bill (Muggs) Shankweiler - Oldest son of Willie, brother of Leroy
