David Fried Obituary
David J. Fried, 41, of Lower Macungie Twp., passed away on December 6, 2012. Born in Allentown, he was the son of John Fried and Elizabeth Becker. He was the husband of Jennifer (Zentz) Fried and they celebrated 11 years of marriage. David was a graduated of Emmaus High School, Class of 1989. He received a bachelors degree in nursing at Temple University and a master of science in nursing anesthesia from St. Josephs University. He was employed as a certified registered nurse anesthesia at St. Lukes Hospital, Allentown. He enjoyed playing the guitar, bicycling, reading, golfing, snow skiing and spending time with his family. Survivors: Wife; parents; daughters, Haley and Morgan; sister, Laura Marcinczyk; brother, John Fried; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Marilyn Zentz; 17 nieces and nephews. Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 10 at Fellowship Communities Auditorium, 3000 Fellowship Dr., Whitehall. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus, PA 18049. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Jennifer Fried and mailed to the funeral home. All proceeds will go toward the educational funds for Haley and Morgan.

Can't believe that it is 9 years that you passed away. We
think about you everytime we pass thru the area where you lived. We only knew you for a short time, but you left a wonderful impression on us. And, you put John under when he had his Open Heart Surgery. He talks about that alot. We miss you Dave. Hopefully you are still making Music and when we get there, you will have room in the band for John!!! Rock on Dave!!!!!

It's hard to believe that it is 8 years that Dave has passed.
Whenever we pass the area near where he lived, we think
of him. We only knew him a few short years, but we made
alot of great memories together, especially making music
in the band together. Hope you are making some great music

David was a good friend and colleague. An excellent anesthetist and person . When he laughed he made me laugh. I send my blessings to all his family and friends because we also were his family. Dearest Fried Family, your husband, your dad was such a good man. I worked with Dave at Lvh in the Ohu and in the anesthesia departments at lvh and Reading. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dear Jen, Hale, and Morgan,
I have worked very closely with Dave over the past few years starting Lehigh Valley Hospital Center and finishing at Saint Lukes Allentown. As an anesthesiologist, i always looked forward to and enjoyed taking care of patients with dave. He was wonderful person-compassionate, intelligent, and talented. We often shard stories about our children or our love for cycling. He will be missed by so many. All i have to offer to you now is my heartfelt prayers and condolences.
