I taught alongside of Dave at Jefferson, and I had the joy of seeing him at Phoebe Home when the retired teachers had a Christmas sing-along. He was always a perfect gentleman, and I am proud to say makes teaching a respectable profession.

Mr. Renshaw was my 6th grade teacher at Jefferson School in 1967-68. He was an excellent teacher, well liked and fondly remembered by his students.
A few years ago, when I found out that he was in the Phoebe Home, my wife and I visited him. I brought my 6th grade class picture and showed it to him. He listened intently as I named all the names I could remember. When we left, tears streamed down his face and he thanked us profusely for visiting him. I had no idea that it would mean so much to him to receive a visit from a former student.

Dear Mr. Renshaw, although you were not my 6th grade teacher you taught math to our class in 1976. I would like to convey to your family and your spirit a sense of real thanks. You are an excellent teacher. Thank You! Stephen

Mr. Renshaw was my sixth grade teacher at Jefferson School in Emmaus in 1961. He was my oldest daugher's teacher in the mid-1980's. He was a good and fair teacher. Please accept my condolences for your loss.
