Eva A. Kern
Eva A. Kern, 88, of Allentown, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008, surrounded by her loving family in ManorCare II in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Kenneth J. Kern. Born in Wind Gap, Eva was a daughter of the late Anthony G. Belovich Sr. and the late Mary E. (Belovich) Belovich. Eva was a waitress for many years for the former Lehs Department Store, Hesss Patio and the former Rubes Diner. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic in Allentown. As Eva gave during her life, she has given in death, with her gift to Humanity Gifts for medical sciences. Survivors: Son, Michael A. and his wife Veronica of Allentown. A daughter, Karen wife of George Benetz of Quakertown; two brothers, Louis of Tamaqua, and Joseph of Coopersburg; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Services: Mass of Christian Burial at noon, Saturday, April 19, in the Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 444 N. Jasper St., Allentown. No calling hours. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the church, 18109. Arrangements by ODonnell Funeral Home, 908 Hanover Ave., Allentown.
