Florence Freyenhagen
Florence H. (White) Freyenhagen, 92, died March 8, 2005, in Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Northampton, Mass. She was the widow of Clinton M. Freyenhagen, who passed away on December 5, 1985. Born December 29, 1912, in Athol, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian (Hurd) White. She graduated from Greenfield (Mass.) High School. She was a homemaker and loving mother to three children. She had lived in Huntington, Mass., for the past five years after moving there from Dummerston, Vt., where she had lived for many years. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Huntington. Survivors: Daughters, Audrey R. David of Allentown, Nancy L. Thebb of Huntington; son, James E. Freyenhagen on Union, Maine; brother, Frank White of Orleans, Mass.; sister, Dorothy Hull of Summerfield, Fla.; grandchildren, Peter David of Newfane, Vt., Paul David of Palmerton, Michelle McNamara of Orlando, Fla., Catherine David of Rockland, Maine, Kimberly Bean of Southampton, Mass., Christopher Webb of Huntington, Becky McMillan of Lisbon Falls, Maine, Bonnie Freyenhagen of Kenduskeag, Maine, James A. Freyenhagen of Washington, Maine; nine great-grandchildren. Services: were held in March in Huntington. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery, Brattleboro, Vt., at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2005. Ker-Westerlund Funeral Home, Brattleboro, is in charge of arrangements. Contributions: Mountainview Health Care Center Building Fund or Resident Council Fund, 46 Main Rd., Montgomery, MA 01085.
