Frank Modrick Obituary
Frank Modrick IV, 27, died December 9 in Potter Township, near State College, where he also resided. He formerly resided in Wescosville. Frankie loved to work on his car, learn about the brewing business and hang out with his friends. He had a passion for architecture and was a talented artist. Frankie was a 1995 graduate of Emmaus High School and a 2001 graduate of Penn State University, where he received two bachelors degrees, one in media studies and one in liberal arts. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the Frank III and Aileen (Wambold) Modrick of Wescosville. Survivors: He is also survived by his sister, Sarah of Emmaus; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy (Siegfried) Wambold of Bethlehem; uncles; aunts; cousins. He was predeceased by two infant brothers, his paternal grandparents, Frank Jr. and Theresa (Hutta) Modrick and his maternal grandfather, George F. Wambold. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, Kohut Funeral Home, 950 N. Front St., Allentown. Call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, December 14 in the funeral home. Interment, Hope Cemetery, Hecktown. Contributions: Charity of ones choice, c/o the funeral home 18102-1912.

I had the pleasure to know Frank through one of my college roomates. Frank was a great guy who always had a kind word to say. I'll always remember those Nittany Beverage stops, the black VW, and the "gifts" you would leave our apt. R.I.P. Frank

I am deeply saddened by the news of Frank's passing. I want to express my condolences to all of his friends and family. I wish you all comfort in this time of grief.
I am a high school classmate of Frank's. I clearly remember Frank and his love of music. We introduced each other to some great music back then. I always felt comfortable talking with Frank.
