Frederick Halbfoerster Obituary
Frederick W. Halbfoerster, 82, of Bath, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Margaret A. (Smith) Halbfoerster. They were married for 62 years last Jan. 2. Born April 5, 1922, in Elizabeth, N.J., he was a son of the late Ferdinand and Elizabeth (Dahlinger) Halbfoerster. He was a crane operator for Bethlehem Fabricators for 17 years. Previously, he had a retail egg business in New Jersey and was a farmer in East Allen Township. He was a member of St. Peters United Church of Christ, Seemsville. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 413, Bath, Rajah Shriners, Siegfried Royal Arch Chapter 295 and Lehigh Consistory. Survivors: Wife; son, Richard E. and companion Katie Dickinson of Moore Township; sister, Elizabeth Pickering of Lakewood, N.J.; grandchildren, Pastor Timothy Halbfoerster, Michael Halbfoerster, Katrina Dickinson; great-grandchildren, Heather, Ashley, Amber. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, July 26, 2004, in the church, 8142 Valley View Dr., Northampton. Call 7-9 p.m. Sunday, George G. Bensing Funeral Home Inc., Moorestown, 2165 Community Drive, Bath, and 10-11 a.m. Monday in the church. Interment, St. Peters Cemetery, Seemsville. Contributions: To the church 18067.

My grandfather was one of my best friends and I miss him so very much. I am glad that he is not in pain anymore but he is greatly missed.
