Kelly Andrews Obituary

Kelly Louise (Seiler) Andrews, of Coopersburg, PA passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at St. Luke's Bethlehem Campus, surrounded by her loving family after a very courageous 10-month battle with cancer. Born on August 1, 1967, at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, to Gale D. (Moyer) Seiler and the late Ernest M. Seiler III. She was the loving wife of James F. Andrews for 26 years and the loving, devoted mother of the lights of her life, sons Christopher and Michael. Kelly was a 1985 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School, a 1988 graduate of St. Luke's School of Nursing, and a 1994 graduate of Cedar Crest College where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. During her 34-year career as a Registered Nurse at St. Luke's University Health Network, Kelly touched the lives of thousands of patients, their families, and her colleagues. However, Kelly always told her sons that her "job" was to raise them to be the best that they could be, always reminding them that they were "student athletes" not athlete students. Her greatest joys in life were spending time at the beach with her family and attending her sons' academic and athletic events. Her presence was always known at those games by her distinctive whistle from the stands. She spent countless hours attending Christopher and Michael's sporting events while they participated in sports with the Southern Lehigh Youth Athletic Association, Lehigh Valley Baseball Academy, Southern Lehigh HS, and most recently Monmouth University. She was a past officer of the Southern Lehigh HS Boys Booster Clubs for both basketball and baseball.

Survivors: In addition to her husband and sons, she is survived by her mother, Gale D. Seiler of Bethlehem Township, formerly of Walnutport; maternal grandmother, Kathryn M. Moyer; sister, Michele M. Smith (Raymond) of Palmerton; identical twin sister, Lynnette Seiler Wirth (Matthew) of Bethlehem Township; brother-in-law, John Andrews (Pamela) of Palmerton; sister-in-law, Jane Andrews of Macungie; nieces Samantha D. Smith and Kaitlyn Bartholomew (Tyler) both of Palmerton; her nephew Benjamin Andrews (Alison) of Harleysville; great nephews, Andrew and Alexander Bartholomew and great niece, Riley Mae Andrews. She was predeceased by her father, Ernest M. Seiler III; her maternal grandfather, Newton J. Moyer; and her paternal grandparents, Ernest A. Seiler Jr., and Mary (Faryniak) Seiler.

Services: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at St Joseph's Church, 5050 Saint Joseph's Road, Coopersburg, PA 18036. A visitation hour will be held prior to mass from 9 to 10AM. Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made towards the children's future education needs. Checks should be made payable to Harding Funeral Home with Kelly's name in the memo.

Chris and Michael,
I offer my sympathy to you and your family at this sad, difficult time. Your mom was always very proud of your achievements in the classroom and in your athletic games, and rightfully so. You were respectful, humble leaders for others your age. Peace and comfort to you and your family.

Lynnette, Michelle and the entire family,

There is never the right thing to say or do when people you care about lose a family member. Tough times for all. The hardest is part is missing her presence and having to walk through the uncomfortable pain to get to some form of healing. I will be thinking of all of you and holding you close in my heart and prayers. RIP Kelly

With much love,

To all of Kelly´s Family -
Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I was extremely saddened to hear about Kelly´s passing. Although we drifted apart over the years, reading your tribute to her brought back so many memories which I found made me smile through tears. We had endless good times at Northern Lehigh and during her time at St. Luke´s. Cheering at NLHS gave me a great friend and I have no doubt she was the biggest cheerleader for her boys. May that spirit of hers carry on forever in all of your hearts.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Michele (Corvino) Bellesfield
