Mary Vidumsky Obituary

Mary Ann T. Vidumsky, 90, of Bethlehem, died on October 1, 2021. She was born in Bethlehem; daughter of the late Christy and Rita (Walsh) Dalton. Mary Ann is survived by her devoted husband of 71 years, John E. Vidumsky.

Mary Ann will be lovingly remembered as a talented golfer. She shot two holes-in-one and found great peace on the course. She and her husband, John, had a passion for experiencing the world. The two visited 26 countries in their travels. Most of all, Mary Ann will be remembered for the tremendous love that she shared with her family. She was great fun, and Mary Ann enjoyed having her family gathered around her. She is loved.

Mary Ann was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, where she was a member of the championship basketball team. Upon graduation, she attended business school and prepared for her career. Mary Ann served in a few roles in the credit and accounting departments of Sears in Whitehall. She was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish.

Mary Ann will be dearly missed by her children, Carol Memmott and her husband, Mark; John E. Vidumsky, Jr. and his wife, Margaret; and Cecelia Nader and her husband, George; grandchildren, Jake, Matthew, Alison, Kira, Erin, and Samantha; and great granddaughters, Rosalia and Grace. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Michael Dalton; and her sister, Christine Dougherty.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 9-10 a.m. at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, 617 Pierce St., Bethlehem, PA 18015 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Haven´t seen you much over the years but when I did you made me smile and always had such nice things to say. I have a special memory from your hospital stay and I was working night shift. XO
