I met Peter @ my first Honorary first Defenders meeting. He & his bride would attend our monthly meetings. He was a quite, but caring man. The one thing that stood out about him was every couple of months he would give each member a small bag of candy. He always had a smile on his face & was very happy to see you. Today I had the Honor of working with the Honor Guard at your graveside service. I had the pleasure to speak with your wife at the end & present her a special Challenge Coin that I give at all the funeral that I do. You will be sadly missed by one & all. My deepest sympathy to all.
When I would see Pete he always had a smile on his face.
I remember when i joined St.Mary's, he came up to me and said I can't remember your name. I told him and he sang good night Irene to me.
From then on he remembered my name.
May God comfort your family in this time of sorrow.

I used to work at Parkway bowling center. Pete would stop in a lot to visit his nephew, Mike. Quiet gentleman. Condolences to your family,

We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. The carrier has turned into the wind preparing for your final launch.
