I met Mr. Nolte mostly on occasional Christmas Eves, when we would extend some greetings of the season and catch up on the year's passing. He brought great intelligence and sincere interest to those brief, magical conversations.

Meredith and Family - Very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was quite the Engineer. Love the honorary Chief Curmudgeon title! Just letting your know your Navy family is thinking of you during this difficult time and send their heartfelt thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Nolte through working at Country Meadows. He had a sharp personality that I admired. I worked in a different building, but got to know him first by his family game afternoons in the pub. I was touched by the closeness of the family. I thank you all for allowing us to share in his beauty. My prayers are with you in your time of mourning.
