Stella M. Ruhmel
Stella M. Ruhmel, 83, formerly of Wescosville, died Sunday, February 3, 2008 in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late William H. Ruhmel. Born in Kunkletown, Monroe County, she was the daughter of the late Eyry and Ida (George) Frable. She was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Trexlertown. She was a very active member in Krocksville Sunday school, Trexlertown Grange and Wescosville Fire Company Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, music and loved entertaining family and friends playing the accordian. Survivors: She is survived by sons, Hershel H. and his wife, Robin, of Whitehall, Brian K. and his wife, Judith, of Wyomissing; daughters, Luella M., wife of Neal R. Shoemaker, Lila M. Kromer, both of Allentown; Leann M., wife of Robert Tauber III, of Schnecksville; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, February 7 in St. Pauls U.C.C., 1249 Trexlertown Road, Trexlertown. Call 10-11 a.m. Thursday in the church. Arrangements, Trexler Funeral Home, Allentown. Contributions: May be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice, Attn. Viki, 1247 S. Cedar Crest Boulevard, Suite 200, Allentown, PA 18103.

Luella, Lila, Hersh,Brian, Leanne, spouses and kids, Aunt Stella was a special lady. My memories of her laughing and sharing of stories at your house in Wescosville will live with me forever. You kids are to be commended on your acts of comfort and expression of love in her care especially in her later years. May God be with you as you grieve, she is now with my Dad in Heaven singing, they are together once more.
