Thomas F. Dolon

Thomas F. Dolon, 81, of Allentown, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 20, 2022. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Papay) Dolon to whom he was married 57 years. Born in Allentown, January 31, 1941, Thomas was the son of the late Paul H. and Ora A. (Reppert) Dolon. He was a 1958 graduate of Parkland High School and was a member of the Trojan Alumni Club. Thomas loved everything Parkland and Notre Dame. Thomas was employed as a General Yardmaster at PBNE Railroad at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 30 years before retiring in 1995. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife and best friend, Mary Ann; children, Jeffrey T. Dolon and his wife, Gina of Catasauqua, Lisa J. Eshbach and her husband, Glenn of Allentown, Timothy M. Dolon of Allentown; grandchildren, Brittaney, Brooke, Shane, Paige, Hunter, Julia.

Service: Funeral services will be held 10:30 am. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Wednesday in the funeral home. A private interment will follow the service at Sacred Heart (New) Cemetery, Palmerton.
