Caroline Lytle Carpenter

Caroline Lytle Carpenter, age 41, of Nebo, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007 at her residence. Caroline was born in McDowell County on Aug. 26, 1966 and is the daughter of Dennis and Jane Fortenberry Lytle of Marion. Caroline was a member of West Marion United Methodist Church. She worked for the McDowell County Child Nutrition at the Nebo Elementary School. She was a beloved wife, mother and daughter whose pleasant smile will be dearly missed. Her life will be an inspiration to all who knew her. Left to cherish Caroline's memory, in addition to her parents, are her husband of 22 years, Darrell Carpenter of the home; two daughters, Brittney and Anna Carpenter of the home; two sisters, Kim Butler and husband Barry of Alexandria, La. and Sonya Lytle of Nebo; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 23, 2007 at 3 p.m. in Westmoreland Chapel with Rev. Brad Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 2 to 3 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be in McDowell Memorial Park.
