Colene Morrison Obituary

Colene Ford Morrison, age 93 of Powder Springs, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025.

A memorial service will be 12:00 PM, Thursday, January 30, 2025 in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Terry Phillips officiating.

A native of Charlotte, N.C., Colene moved to Powder Springs 23 years ago. She worked in the Automobile Industry for her entire career, and retired from Scott Buick in Charlotte, N.C. Colene was a former member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Smyrna and she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Lloyd Morrison.

Survivors include: Daughter's- Ann Mims and Cindy Hasty both of Powder Springs, Grandchildren- Ashley Owenby, Ben Hasty, Josh Mims and Brandon Mims, 9 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM until service time on Thursday at the Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta. Carmichael Funeral home in Marietta is in charge of the arrangements. www.carmichaelcares.com, 770-424-4924.
