Ruby Clayton Obituary

Ruby Ann Crowe Clayton age 89 of Fairmount, Ga passed away peacefully at home with her family on March 17, 2024 after a brief illness.

Ruby was born in Marietta, Ga and was a life long resident. She was a graduate of Acworth High School. She married Louie Clayton in 1954. Ruby worked as a library assistant for 30 plus years at Blackwell Elementary School. After her retirement she worked with the Baptist Mobile Health Ministry serving all over the state to the dental needs of the underserved,

Ruby was a member of Noonday Baptist Church for 70 plus years. While there she served in so many ways sharing gods word. She loved reading and history. She also loved to sing and shared her love and worship with her voice.

Ruby was preceded in her death by her husband Louie she is survived by her daughter Susan, son in law Steve grandson Michael granddaughter Annette, her brother Robert of Lawrenceville.

Ruby's celebration of life with be Saturday April 20,2024 at Noonday Baptist Church 4120 Canton Rd Marietta, Ga 30066 from 12-3 visitation 12-1, service and a fellowship afterwards. In lieu of flowers please donate to Baptist Mobile Health Ministry Foundation Inc 1353 Riverstone Parkway Suite 120-164 Canton, Ga 30114.
