69 years young, passed peacefully in Stockton California on October 10th, 2015
Born September 13th, 1946 in Merced California to Doris Jane Spurlock (Loughmiller) and Charles Estle Spurlock.
Charlie attended Le Grand High School & Merced Junior College
He grew up in Planada California where he met and married the love of his life Serepia 'Sarah' Ramos.
He was a wonderful father of four daughters, a life long learner and avid reader; a Christian who was active in Cursillo, loved baking, cooking, gardening, model trains and his cat 'Squeaky'.
Survived by his loving wife of 45 years Sarah; daughters Sheri Witt (Tom) of Stockton, Stephanie Taylor (Nevin) of Stafford VA, Stacey Jones (Michael) of Stockton, and Shaina Marquez (Roberto) of Stockton; grandchildren Logan, Ashlyne, Kyron, Aidan, Reagan, Brynn,Trent, Roberto Jr and step-grandchildren Jocelyn, Mallory & Tatiana; step-great-granddaughter Avery; siblings Janie Drum of Atwater, Barbara Jo Dysart of Le Grand and Dennis Spurlock of Los Banos as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday October 22nd at the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park hwy 99 ar E. Harney Lane in Lodi.
In honor of Charlie's love of reading, donations of money to Dameron Hospital Association notated for can be made to Dameron Hospital Association Children's Ward notate "Books in Charles Spurlock's name" in memory of Charles Spurlock can be made.
