We are sad to announce the loss of our mother Mrs. Francoise Helleux-Brown on Sept. 3rd 2017
at the age of 86.
She passed after a long struggle with ALS and Parkinson's disease in her home in Reno Nv.
Francoise was born in the year 1931 at St. Aubin du Cormier a very small village in Brittany France.
The 8th of 17 children she grew up in a very loving family and was a young child during the II World War.
Her parents were furniture makers and well known and respected in the village she had fond memories of playing in the forest and the castle near her home.
Francoise is survived by her 3 children, Clifton Brown, Steven Brown and Rennie Brown-Tillis, 6 grandchildren Holly, Heidi, Justin, Bradley, Mason and Kylee and 3 great grandchildren Ana, Eliza and Emma.
Francoise who was married to her late husband Stuart Brown came to the US and was very proud to eventually become a US Citizen. They meet in Paris and fell in love during the Korean War when Stuart was stationed in France.
Many of her friends remember her years as a teacher of French and Spanish at Gustine High School Ca.
and as a substitute at Maple Valley Wa. school district.
She later became a substitute teacher and was loved by so many children and adults for her beautiful accent and singing voice. Francoise was a substitute until the age of 78 when she finally retired.
Francoise loved to travel and was very artistic; she had a full life surrounded by her family and friends and was always very active and fun loving.
She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her and she will always remain in our hearts and memories. RIP God Bless you Mom (Francoise).
