Maclovia Zamora Obituary

Maclovia Fernandez Zamora sacrificed all her life to see her family succeed. She came from a small farm town of Gomez Farias in the state of Michoacán. She brought up 7 beautiful children, 2 girls and 5 boys. In the late 1960Õs, she moved her family to Watsonville, CA. Through the years she help raise a beautiful family which blossomed and grew. Maclovia always set a standard which carried on to each generation, which was, "family first, stay closely together, and always love each other no matter the obstacles." She was most proud of the family she created and the love we all shared and becoming a US Citizen on October 4, 1999. She will be missed.
Maclovia is survived by her family, Yolanda Fernandez, Joe Romero, Steve Romero, Jasmine Romero, Ramon Ortiz, Alex Fernandez, Martin Fernandez, Juan Fernandez, Jesus Fernandez, Lupita Rocha, Humberto Fernandez, 31 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raul Fernandez.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 18, at 2:00 p.m., at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel, Los Banos,  followed by a Rosary and a Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m.
Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel, Los Banos.
