Michael Casaletto Obituary

Michael Philip Casaletto

February 6, 1957 - April 22, 2025

Porterville, California - Sixty-eight years ago a beautiful special needs boy was born and God smiled.

He said to the boy, "you are perfect in every way. Although your journey through life will not be like others, your soul has purpose just like your sisters and brothers. I will place you in the care of capable others but you will always be deeply loved by your mother, father, sister and brother. I will walk beside you and hold your hand until it's time to go to the Promised Land where at heaven's gate your father will wait. He will smile and as you walk near, you will whisper in his ear, "I missed you dad. I'm so happy you are here."

Together you will walk away towards the setting sun into the arms of God, the Glorious One. You will be blessed with an eternal life of a world without pain as the angels sing out your name.

We will all meet again in this beautiful place. Reunited as one we will be- Forever and for all eternity.

Until that day comes sweet boy, we pray you'll walk into heaven with your heart filled with joy.

Michael is preceded in death by his father Harold (Cass) Casaletto, two sets of grandparents and two uncles.

He is survived by his mother Marge Casaletto, brother Mark Casaletto (Tracey), sister Mia McKnight (Robert) and two nephews Conner and Ross McKnight.

Graveside services for the family was on 6/13/25.

What a beautiful tribute & "perfectly" sweet farewell to Michael. My story ~
There was a man born in 1929 named Vernon. He wasn´t perfect. He was my uncle, but he was perfect to us. I remember he had grand mall seizures & as little kids, we would surround him to protect him. Uncle Vernon was our playmate. He loved it & would play & laugh with us for hours. He loved the cows, horses & his wheelbarrow. My Uncle lived to be 92 & passed a few years ago. To Michael´s family ~ We all were blessed with these two wonderful men. Perfection ~ Yep that´s what both our families had. Michael & Vernon. I think they´re both friends in heaven. & may they both rest easy. Love & Peace, Sue
