Peter Tinetti Obituary

Peter Nicholas Tinetti
August 15th, 1980 - July 13th, 2020
Peter Nicholas Tinetti passed from this life unexpectedly on July 13, 2020 at the age of 39.
Pete was born on August 15, 1980 in Merced, California to Steve and Joanie (Puglizevich) Tinetti. He graduated from CalPoly in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. Over the years, he managed many projects, with roles ranging from Superintendent to Project Manager ending with Cumming Corporation, Facebook Campus.
Pete met Aleksandra Gajek in 2004 while they were both studying abroad in Southern England. They married in 2009, and the couple settled in San Jose, California where they welcomed two lovely girls into their lives - Amelia, age 7, and Savannah, 4. His wife and girls will remember Pete as a fun and affectionate husband and father who made them giggle, involved them in projects, and loved them deeply.
Pete was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed sports such as hiking, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, soccer, and golf. Most importantly, Pete was a friend to all he met. He was a selfless, considerate, and caring man whose passion was the people around him. Pete would take time to call friends and family just to check in, genuinely interested in their lives and well-being. His sense of humor brought smiles and joy into the lives of those around him.
Pete is survived by his wife, Aleksandra, his two children, Amelia and Savannah, his parents, Steve and Joanie Tinetti, sister Laura Tinetti, sister and brother-in-law Denice and Scott Eldridge Senior, nephew Scott Eldrige Jr and wife Elizabeth, niece Kalanna Eldridge, countless cousins, and throngs of friends. His loss is felt deeply.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private service for immediate family only will be held on Saturday, July 25th, 2020 at 9:00 in the morning with proper social distancing observed. Attendance at this service will be by invitation only. However, for those wishing to join the services remotely, a Zoom link will be provided on July 24th to extended family and friends via direct message. In memory of Pete, the family will be hosting a Celebration of Life beyond COVID during his birthday weekend on August 14, 2021. More details to follow.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express condolences or support to the family may do so by in several ways:
If inclined please mail a letter of what you liked most about Pete, what you did together, a story that epitomizes him or any other memories that come to mind. Those letters will be saved and placed in a box for his girls to read when they are older.

Pete, It wasn't the same without you on opening morning yesterday. We sure missed seeing you standing along the fence line looking up to the sky calling out birds as they flew in. Your enthusiasm and friendship always made the experience that much better. We'll be thinking about you and recalling happy memories spent with you. Miss you buddy.

Dear Amelia and Savannah,
I want you to know your daddy was a lot of fun, always had a smile or funny thing to add to a conversation. He was best friends with my son Kyle and those two had so many good times. Not all were always proper or what we may have wanted our boys to do, like throwing wet paper towels on the ceiling in Peterson school boys room. Or climbing on my roof to get his shoe, someone threw up there and then helping Jared, my younger son onto the roof too, hahaha. Your daddy was hard to be angry at, he was polite, kind, sincere and always cared about me and us. He called me Mom, mostly I think he forgot where he was as kids do sometimes. But, through all the years he’d show up at our house and walk in the door yelling I’m home Mom! Kyle and Jared weren’t home, or even didn’t live with me anymore, but your dad was so sweet to visit me. I feel blessed to have know him as a kid and adult. He brought a lot of fun to our home.
Know that your daddy was loved beyond measure and is missed by so many, know he adored you girls. He was extremely proud of his family. I will always love your dad, I will miss him forever and if you ever want stories about him, I have some. Kyle has many more than I do.
He would want you to thrive, he would want you to enjoy life and reach for your dreams, above all he wants your happiness and a great life. I will pray for you girls and your family and I wish you all peace and love at this extremely difficult time. The loss is not comforted by words or thoughts, nothing can take away the sorrow. I’m thinking Of you all, my heart is heavy.

I was honored to start at Mission Bell, the same month as Pete. Our desks were joined, separated only by a divider. Immediately impressed by his warm spirit, kindness, and ingenuity, I looked forward to seeing him everyday. He was such a sharp guy; always developing helpful excel sheets, and improving procedures to simplify complicated tasks. He talked often about his family. He was a dedicated father, and would work extra hours to cover the times he rushed to pick up his little daughter. He truly loved his family. Pete was not just about clocking in to make money, he was about people and friendships. He was a real team player. Funny, we also left Mission Bell the same month. I am so sad that I wont be seeing him again. At least, not in this life, but in Heaven. To his family, my sincerest condolences, over the loss of such a precious son...father...husband...friend.

I have never met anyone with as much charisma and light as you Pete. From the first time we met at MHS, we instantly bonded. Probably didnt help our sense of humor fed off each others but you were true friend and have truly impacted us all. My heart and prayers go out to your family and girls. Thank you for the memories, laughs, and years of friendship. This isnt goodbye, just we’ll see you later. Rest easy brother.

Dear Pete’s Family,

Please accept my condolences. I am saddened by Pete’s passing. I had a pleasure of working with Pete at Mission Bell. I was new to the company and industry, and he helped me feel at ease. He was very kind, supportive, and willing to lend me a hand. We stayed in touch after we left the company. I was thrilled that one of his new co-workers was an old college friend of mine. With that, we both are mourning. We will miss him!

Steve and Joanie,
Please accept our deepest sympathies for the loss of your fine son, Peter. We remember his volunteering to help us run the rides at Kiddieland back when he was in high school. He was so patient and great with the kids. We want you to know we are thinking of you and are with you in spirit.

Peter was one of my 6th Graders at Tenaya. He knew only laughter and kindness. Peter was a friend to all and his presence in class was appreciated by his classmates. It is special to see that Peter has remained friends with many of these kids from room 22. When his name is mentioned, people just smile. Thank you for stopping by and seeing me, it was great to see the man you had grown up to be.

You will be greatly missed Peter, but we all thank you for the impact you had on our lives through your conversations, laughter and smile. Hugs and prayers to your family.

My dear friend Joanie. My heart aches for you during this time. I'm so sorry for your loss. I will always remember how good you were to Tristan and I, praying with me and for us. His baby shower/party when his adoption was final. Thank you for all of those times. We can find peace in knowing our sons are rejoicing with The Lord. God bless you and Steve and family.
