Mom,
The foremost feeling I have is that I am happy to know that you are with God and our savior Jesus. I truly know that your passing only means that one day you will be waiting to see me when we meet in heaven. While I am here on earth I miss you and the moments that we shared. Of all the times that I cherish the most, it is when you accepted our Lord and Savior Jesus into your life. I remember that when I would ask you how you felt about that. You would tell me that Jesus was with you and that you knew that God was one day going to have a special place for you and I.

A message to mom,
For the last two years, I was expecting this day to come. I always thought that one day when I would call you in the morning, you wouldn't answer. I was always so happy when you did answer, because I knew I had another day with you. I never thought it would happen the way it did. March 4th, through April 4th, was the worst month of my life, watching you leave slowly. You always talked about not wanting to be alone, but you'll never be alone, because you'll always be in my heart. I miss hearing you say, "I love you lady." I miss your voice, and your little warm body. I always wondered how painful it would be to miss you, the pain is much more than what I expected. I miss you so much and I love you so much. Theres a part of my life missing. Help me find my way. I love you.

I will be forever grateful to Pat and Gonzalo. I will miss Lady greatly. They treated my son Christopher like their own grandson & opened their arms to me too. No matter what day or time you stopped by their house, even by surprise, they ALWAYS had something good and warm to eat! Pat was always full of laughter and good conversation. She was always happy and you could never tell if she was having a bad moment. She was a VERY strong person and I truly admired how her children looked after her with such great love and care. To Yoland, Nerissa, Letty, Mila, Dahlia, Monique, Angelique and all the rest of the family, it was such a privilege for me to have known your mother/grandmom and I thanked her every time I could for being so loving towards my family. You have truly lost a most precious Jewel, but we will see her again in Christ Jesus at the resurrection. All my love, Elida

My mother was a very loving person. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a very strong woman who overcame many obstacles in her life. She had an unconditional love for her children and grandchildren. My mother was the glue that kept our family together. Her passing was the saddest day of my life but I will treasure the memories of all the special times we shared together.
