Anne Curtis Obituary

Anne Z. Curtis Joined her husband Milo in Heaven on Wednesday Dec 15. Anne was born on June 20, 1917 in Witherbee NY, later moving with her family to Schenectady, a GE town. Anne attended the Rochester Dental Dispensary and worked as a Dental Hygienist in the public schools. Anne and Milo met on a blind date, married, and moved to Saratoga in '56 and were "Original Homeowners" in Brookview.

She was always helping with her daughter Anne's Girl Scout activities or as a room mother. Anne immensely enjoyed her grandsons Brendan, Anthony, and Joey, and son-in-law George Gadd. Anne overcame many medical challenges throughout her lifetime, and received the nickname "Energizer Bunny" from family, friends, and our beloved Cardiologist Dr. Steven Green. The complications of diabetes finally claimed her life, but not her spirit.

Our family would especially like to thank everyone who increased the quality of Anne's life; MJ Henderson RNP and Dr. Cherlin, Dr. Green, Dr. Robert Armstrong, Saratoga Adult Care Center (Renee), the Cursillo Community, and wonderful friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial and Reception will be Monday, Dec. 20, 10:00 a.m. at Ascension Church Prospect Rd Saratoga. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Saratoga Adult Care Center are greatly appreciated. Arrangements by BYRGAN & COMPANY.
