I was shocked to hear of Brent's passing. He was a wonderful, kind and sweet soul. He loved work and he loved Robert. He was the smartest man IS ever met and the world is better for having known him.

I am Brent's next door neighbor when he lived in Concord. Brent picked an Eichler home which is full of beamed ceilings, floor to ceiling humongous windows, and gardens everywhere; gardens outside and even a garden in the middle of the house. I liked his taste in architecture because my house is an Eichler too and I've lived there since 1974.
I remember Brent as a brilliant, young, able, and responsible computer programmer like my late husband Paul. Everyone worshipped these guys because they understood large mainframe computers that took up a whole room. It's different now when computers are Iphones you stick in your pocket.

I worked with Brent for a number of years at Amdahl Corp. Great sense of humor and a fun guy to work with. I learned a lot from him. Thanks Brent.

Such an unselfish and compassionate person you will be missed. It was a joy to watch you play laser light tag with your beloved dog.

I was shocked and saddened to hear this bad news. My deepest sympathies to his son and family. I worked with Brent for over 9 years starting at Magnuson Computer Systems ,then Autologic and then I was fortunate to have the experience of co-founding a company with him. I learned a lot from him. ("standing on the shoulder of a giant"). He was the smartest ,most talented person I have ever worked with and in addition the nicest ,most gentle spirit on this planet. He is a silent legend in our silicon valley and deserves much credit for his contributions to our technical computer biz. God will have a special mansion for him, he will now rest in peace. Ed
