Daniel Cummins Obituary
Resident of San Mateo
Daniel "Dan" Cummins, age 77, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2015 in Kaiser Hospital in Santa Rosa surrounded by family.
Dan was born January 27, 1938 in San Francisco. In 1969, Dan met his future wife Helen Poncia, they married in San Francisco in 1970 and settled in San Mateo to raise their two daughters, Danelle and Debra.
Dan had a long and successful career in the San Francisco Bay Area as an electrician running his own business, Cummins Electric. Dan enjoyed the outdoors, loved to hunt and fish and spending time with his family. Dan is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Helen; his two beautiful daughters, Debra Ferreira of San Mateo; and Danelle Becker of Costa Mesa and his four grandchildren, Danny (9), Brook (9), Brian (8) and Jullian (6).
There will be a private memorial service to be held at Sneider, Sullivan and O'Connell's Funeral Home in San Mateo. Memorial contributions may be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America in memory of Dan.

Aunt Helen , Debra and Danielle again just wanted you to know how sorry I am for your loss. Dan was a man of many words, but Ben Davis describe him most, hard working and a man that loved his family. He will always be in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
