The wonderful memories of good times with Doris flooded over me as I read of her passing. The Nobles and the Slaters go back 60 some years. Doris was always smiling and made me feel so special as she would ask about ME and what was going on in my life. We had many great times together with both our families and then as an adult many fun hours over the Bridge table. Her legacy of family is awesome and her legacy of love priceless. God Bless you, Doris, and keep you in His arms.

I can't even begin to write and the tears start. I remember Mrs. Noble as she was before her illness. God bless the girls for shepparding her with dignity these last several years.

Mr. and Mrs. Noble always felt like my second set of parents and they will always remain that way in my heart and memory. I have so many great memories- Marie thanks for sharing your mom and dad with me.

I cannot think of a more kind and loving soul than Mrs. Noble. She made a lasting impact on my life and I will never forget her.

I'm hard pressed to think of another person I have known who always had a kind word and was so quick to laugh and smile. I know this legacy lives on through the family.

Dear Noble girls,
The end of an era has come. Dad passed away in Oct. and now your precious Mom is gone. Well, the Bridge foursome is back together. A flood of memories came over me upon hearing about precious Doris; the years we Slater girls babysat all of you, the great times we had at our family get togethers in the 40's and 50's and the many visits to see your folks whenever we girls returned home from wherever. Sending my love to all of you and my deepest sympathies---your Mom was the best!'
lovingly, Suzie Slater Curtis

The Schott Family was saddened of the news of Mrs Noble's passing. To this day we can still see her smiling face and kind words. She always had something positive or kind to say. With all of the kids on the street while we were growing up, it was always fun to mess with her. She would ask, Are you Kenny, Donny, or Brian? Then she would go onto the next family and guess,"Are you Greg, Robert, Evan, Garth, Alex, Jay, Jeff, John, etc? You could answer yes to any of them and she would have a kind word to share with you or a story. For the rest of my life I will continue to have this image of Doris marching off down the street to go to P & W or to St Christopher's to pray for all the kids mentioned above, including Louise, Kathy, Pat, Leslie, Marie and Bill.
Bless her sole and the wonderful Noble Family that I had the great honor of growing up with on Husted Ave.

Respectfully,

Brian Schott and Family
