Edith (E.D.) Jessie Casipit Munday Winn, 81, passed away on December 18, 2014 in Medford, OR. She was born in Hayward, California on June 15, 1933 to Louis S. and Mary J. Camara Palmer Casipit.
She graduated from Valle Vista School in 1947, Hayward Union High School in 1951, and San Jose State University with a BS in Education in 1955. She taught in Marysville and Milpitas, CA, Seattle, WA, Powell Butte and Prineville, OR. She was member of the Prineville B.P.O.E. Ladies of Elks Club, the Red Hat Society, the Oregon Retired Teachers Association.
She married Bill Munday in 1955 and later divorced, then married Frank J. Winn in 1965, who predeceased her in 2004. She is survived by her sister, Agnes Knowles, of Medford, OR and brother, Herbert Casipit, of Tracy, CA (who passed in Jan. 2015). She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Square, of Mentor, OH and her brothers Louis Casipit, of Brentwood, CA and Calvin Casipit of Prescott, AZ.
Memorial services will be held at the Elks Club in Prineville, OR on May 23, 2015 at 11:00 am. Hawaiian attire acceptable.
