Jeff Healy Obituary
Jeff Healy aka John Frederick Healy
Resident of Hillsborough
Died unexpectedly in his sleep on July 24, 2010. Jeff was born on December 31, 1965 and raised on the Peninsula. At Our Lady of Angels, Serra High School and Santa Clara University, Jeff received many accolades both in sports and his other favorite endeavors.
Most importantly, he was the loving son of Dr. Francis and Grace Healy. Through the years Jeff was a helpful and caring brother to Fran, Peter, Susan, Michael, Brian, Tim, Bill and Kathy. Jeff was also a thoughtful and caring brother-in-law to Ann, Virgina, Tom, Andrea, Mary Ann, Laura and Mark. Jeff's generosity also extended his role as an uncle to Megan, Katie, Fran, Patrick, Brendan, Grace, Scott, Carolyn, Catherine, Kaitlyn, Kelly, Trevor, Aidan, Dustin, Matt, Sarah, Mike, Erin and Morgan. Jeff would have also been a terrific great uncle to Jade, Harper and Jess.
Jeff's smile, charisma, loyalty, and great love for his friends and family will never be forgotten. Thanks for always being there as a son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, co-worker and friend.
Jeff - may you find the eternal peace and happiness you deserve.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to the Jeff Healy scholarship fund to be established at Junipero Serra High School (contributions should be made payable as follows: "Jeff Healy Memorial Scholarship Fund" and mail to Kathy Healy Carpenter, 1143 Farragut Blvd., Foster City, CA 94404).
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2010 at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church at 1721 Hillside Drive, Burlingame, California. Chapel of the Highlands,

My condolences, Healy family. I'm a friend of Doug and Elena Hupke and was saddened to hear of the loss of their dear friend, Jeff. Although I did not know him, it's clear to me that Jeff was a good person with a powerful spirit. May he rest in peace.

Heals, I will miss you very much. I have always enjoyed our conversations and playing golf with you during our "Ryder Cup" golf outings each year. I can honestly say in my life I have never seen anyone, outside of Barts who was very close, that could hit a golf ball farther that you. You were one heck of a golfer too. Heals I was always impressed by you as you were always the most kind hearted person I have known, and you are truly a great friend to all that knew you. Because of who you were as a person there will be many many people who will miss you and your friendship. I have never met anyone who had the opportunity to meet you, that did not have a kind word to say about the person you were. The world has lost a truly great person and friend, and I will never forget you. My deepest condolences to the Healy family, from all of the Banks Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you, especially our friend for life, Jeff. You were and always will be a great friend. Thanks for everything Heals. We love you, and will truly miss you. I had the honor to work with Jeff at Visa for several years. He was a very dedicated employee and showed great integrity in everything he did. Jeff was great to work with and grew to be a good friend who's company I enjoyed whether it was work or play.
May you rest in peace knowing you will remaind in the hearts and minds of soo many friends and relatives.

Heals...I'm going to miss you. We had great times over the last 30 plus years and I am privileged and honored to have spent that time with you.
I'm especially going to miss all of our phone conversations...always starting out with "Fast Eddie...what's shaking?" You taught me how to golf...and you were the best golfer I will ever know. You were always there if I needed help with anything. Our times spent on the diamond are priceless....as I will never forget playing against you in college...when you came up to hit and we both looked at each other...during the middle of the game....and laughed. Then...you doubled off the fence...no surprise.
Life will not be the same without you. You were and always will be a great friend. Thanks for everything Heals. I love you.

Although I was a couple of years behind Jeff at both OLA and Serra, he always made the time to stop, say 'hello', and ask how things were going. Jeff's infectious smile and sincere personality will be missed by many. My deepest condolences to the Healy family, from all of the Kinsella's.
