Jemma Jack Obituary

Jemma S. Jack
March 22, 1948 - July 9, 2021
Resident of San Jose
Jemma Jack lost her battle to melanoma on the morning of July 9, 2021. Jemma was born on March 22, 1948. She was born and raised in North Carolina, where she was Ms. Morehead City and first runner up to Ms. North Carolina beauty pageant. In 1991, she left her job at North Carolina State University College of Engineering and moved to San Jose, to marry Jesse Jack. She was not only outwardly beautiful, but also beautiful on the inside. She was an incredibly loving mother, wife, and friend. She lit up every room she walked into and exuded elegance. She was a frequent participant and organizer of fund raising activities in Santa Clara County. She is survived by her husband, daughter, Taylor Rayfield, as well as loving step-children and grandchildren.. She will be forever missed. A celebration of life will be held on July 23rd from 11am-2pm at The Mountain Winery in Saratoga, CA. She will be buried at Nelson Bay Cemetery in Sea Level, NC, in her family plot, on August 30, 2021. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Jemma Jack Fund at St. Jude.
