Jerome Waldorf Obituary

Jerome M. (Jerry) Waldorf Was born in Bozeman, Montana, on February 4, 1926 and died November 29, 2005. After high school he was a cadet in the Army Air Corps and graduated from Montana State College. He is survived by his wife Carol, daughter Terry Emler and son-in-law Bob Emler of Longmont, Colorado, and by daughter Marj Rich and son-in-law Rudy Rich of San Juan Bautista, California. He leaves four grandchildren: Ben Eufemi of Hollister, California, Nickolas Eufemi, currently overseas in the Air Force, Cary Emler and Leah Widhalm, both living in Colorado. He has nine great grandchildren. After retiring as a computer design engineer with I.B.M., Jerry became an enthusiastic wildlife photographer and left many beautiful photographs which he skillfully matted and framed. Jerry loved to laugh and music was always a warm and happy part of his life. Walking pathways and trails in the beautiful California parks was a highlight of his later life. A memorial service will be held at the Alameda Family Funeral Home at 12341 S Saratoga-Sunnyvale Rd., Saratoga, CA. In lieu of flowers, a donation would be appreciated to a charity of your choice or to the Odyssey Health Care Hospice, 1500 Hamilton Avenue, Suite 212, Campbell, California 95008.

My memories are of Jerry,and Carol having many lunchs in the SantaCruz area Oh he did love to eat. And his camera clicked away.

My condolences to my Grandma Carol,my Step-Mother Marj & to Teri. Grandpa Jerry will be missed. I will always remember walking to the house with my children & always be greated with open arm. I will alway remember Jerry & his hat. You never saw him with out a hat unless he was in doors. He was a great photographer. I am lucky to have 2 of my favorite pictures he took. 1 from when we all went as a family to Tahoe & we saw the 2 Eagles out of the windows up in the tree. Another one of my favorite place the Mojavi Desert. I am glad to have know him.
