Anne and family:

I was saddened to hear of Johnny's passing. After High School we went our separate ways but I have great memories of our friendship. We worked for the Cortese brothers harvesting and drying prunes. I got to drive the stick shift truck, but I taught John and soon he was doing the driving! We played church league softball with Mickey Smith. Mickey was a great athlete, Johnny was OK and I was terrible, but we took last place the first year and first place the next year.

If you were lucky enough to be Johnny's friend you got invited to his great "basement parties." Dancing with thr Pieracci sisters, oh yeah!! Johnny was well-liked and always wanted a Pontiac GTO.

I know he has left a loving family behind and I wish you the best...

REST IN PEACE JOHNNY

Your old friend

I am so sorry to hear about Johnny, it came as a shock to us all. I will always remember johnny for to bright extravagant person he was and never forget working with him in the summer and hearing about all of his stories he used to tell. I will miss him but I know he is now looking down on us all.
