Resident of San Jose
Lupe Paiz, age 87, passed peacefully on October 25th surrounded by her loving family. Born January 5, 1930, in El Centro, California, daughter of John Paiz and Francis Acosta.
Raised in San Jose, she worked in the fields where she met Jose Dagnino, married in 1948 and had 7 children. After 26 years she retired from California Canners and Growers as a forklift driver. In retirement she was best known for her delicious cakes.
Lupe is survived by her siblings Francis, Johnny, Gilda, Jesse, Rosemary, Maryann and Augie; children Lupe,Vera,David,Johnny and Maryann;19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by Jose Dagnino, brothers Raymond, Ruffio and Vincent; sons Joseph and Jesse; great-grandson Jacob.
Service will be held on 11/9/17 at St John Vianney, 4600 Hyland Ave, San Jose, 95127 starting at 10:45.

Mother, you will always be in my heart. Thank you for showing me the way in my life and for showing us to pray and believe in God, for he is our strength. With out God, I believe I couldn't go on. I love you for that. Living with me and taking care of you until the end was an honor. I will miss you deeply and never forget you.Thank you for being such a good mother and all the fun and good memories! I love you Mom. Lupita, Louis and grandchildren.

Lupe, you have left quite a legacy behind, you are an example of what we come here on this earth to do.
You were a good wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, you touched everyone of these lives in
in a special way, with love, patience and understanding.
Well done faithful servant, you have finished your job, it is now time to rest in Gods arms and be loved.
