Mae Minato
July 6, 1927 - Dec 4, 2014
Resident of Cupertino
Mae passed away suddenly in her home on Dec. 4th at the age of 87.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Tina), and Alan (Lynn); grandchildren, Chris, and Melissa; and sisters, Grace Inouye, and Tomi Tanase. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ray Inouye; and sister, Ann Masuda.
A native of San Jose, she graduated from Heart Mountain High School in Wyoming, where she was relocated during World War II. She retired from Hewlett-Packard where she worked for over 20 years.
Mae loved traveling with her family and going on weekly outings with her sisters. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, watching sports and was an avid Giants fan. She also found pleasure in her volunteer work for Yu-Ai Kai. Mae will be missed by family and friends.
There will be a private memorial service. In lieu of koden, donations can be made to Yu-Ai Kai, 588 N. Fourth St. San Jose, CA 95112.
