Michael Nicholas Obituary
Scotts Valley
Michael Lauren Nicholas, 55, of Scotts Valley Ca, passed away in Maui on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017.
Born October 30th, 1962 in Concord, California, son of John and Elizabeth (Horsch) Nicholas.
Michael is survived by his loving partner Maria Chang, his siblings: William, Patrick, and Kathleen, as well as his nephew and nieces.
He was a 1981 graduate of Lynbrook High School, and also attended West Valley College and Chico State, playing football for both schools.
"Maui Mike" was a member of OE3 Heavy Lift Engineers retrofitting Bay Bridge, Presidio, and many other projects throughout California.
He enjoyed all sports, but loved golf the most, and traveled to courses in Ireland, Mexico, Minnesota, Maui, and throughout Northern California, making many friends along the way.
Family and Friends will come together for a Celebration of Life at Michael's at Shoreline, Monday, January 22nd at 12pm.
