Sara Hervey Obituary

Sara Dell Markel Hervey 5/22/54 - 6/14/04. A loving daughter, mother and grandmother was carried by an angel to be with her heavenly father on June 14, 2004. Sara was born in Fort Benning, Georgia and raised in Palo Alto, California. Much of her life was spent as a devoted mother of two, working tirelessly to raise her children. Her incredibly strong will saw her through difficult times. Despite the challenges she faced during her life, Sara always managed to think of others. Her thoughtfulness and generosity towards others, as well as her infectious smile, were her most memorable features. Her grandson Nathanuel brought her great joy. Sadly, she was unable to greet the arrival of her second grandchild, but is sure to be with both grandchildren in spirit. Sara is survived by her parents Crystal and Bill Wullschleger, sister Marty Shook, brother John Stafford, children Jason and Janelle Hervey, grandson Nathanuel Medina, and John Hervey, the father of her children. She is also survived by many extended family and friends too numerous to name. Sara will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest peacefully in the hands of her creator. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing and service on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at CHAPEL OF FLOWERS, 900 South Second St., San Jose, California. The viewing will begin at 4:00 p.m. and the service will follow at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pathway House, 102 South Eleventh St., San Jose, CA.
