Sue Fisher Obituary
1914 - 2012
Resident of San Jose
Passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the age of 97 on July 24.
She was the youngest of eight siblings born to Samuel and Bessie Sternberg in Denver, Colorado. She married Charles J. Fisher of Charleston, West Virginia while he was serving in the army. After World War II they joined his family in California. Sue and Charles lived in Whittier for more than 30 years where they enjoyed the coast and establishing several children's shoe stores.
She is survived by her daughter, Elise; grandchildren, Francesca and Raphael; and much loved son-in-law, Peter di Donato.
Services have been held in Palm Springs, CA.
