Greg Hinsz Obituary
Greg 'Rosey' Hinsz
Greg "Rosey" Hinsz, son of Ben and Dorothy Hinsz, was born on January 11, 1956, in Bemidji, Minn.. He was raised in Brevik, Minn., on the farm.
He passed away on February 12, 2025 in Duluth, Minn.
He spent most of his career working for the Town of White and with the Palo Fire Department/First Responders.
Anyone who knew "Rosey" knows he loved to farm and would help anyone in need.
Once retired, he sold his farm in Palo and moved to Aurora. He enjoyed going to his son's farm to get his "farming on."
We are forever grateful for the impact he made on everyone's lives.
He is survived by his son, Trevor (Sonda) Hinsz; daughter, Tammy Hinsz; his brothers, Dale Hinsz, Ray (Shelly) Hinsz, and Sidney Hinsz; and his sister, Pamela (Bob) Moen; grandchildren: Samantha, Austin, Rebecca, Donnavin, Ebony, Maleah; four great-grandchildren; and his partner Mary McGath.
"Rosey" was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held at the Loon Lake Community Center in the cafeteria on March 15, 2025, from 1:00-5:00 p.m.
