Karrel Whitsell Obituary

Boise formerly of Emmett - Karrel P. Whitsell passed away in Boise at the age of 83 with her brother, Darrel, at her side. She was born to John and Florence Whitsell in Emmett, Idaho, where she lived most of her life. She grew up on the family farm and attended school through Emmett High School. For several years she worked for the State of Idaho before returning to the farm to be with her mother, then a widow. Karrel and Florence moved to Boise in 1993. Needlepoint projects, flower gardening, and her dogs, Missy and Emmy, brought much joy to her life.

Karrel is survived by her twin brother, Darrel, and ten nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.

A memorial service was held at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett on Sat., August 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.

So very sorry to hear about Karl´s passing. It seems like just a short time ago that we were all in grade school together. Our thoughts are with you Darrel, we will miss her.
