Marsha Gail (Riepe) Burnham, 74, of Metropolis, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, with her loving family by her side.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025, at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home, Paul Wingfield, Jamie Boone, and Charlie Kilpatrick officiated. Burial followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Marsha was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandsons, attending their events and watching them grow and thrive. Aside from her family, nothing was more important to Marsha than her faith. She was a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ, enjoyed horseback riding, camping, arts and crafts, especially painting, and gardening. Marsha and Carl were blessed with two daughters, but many young adults came into their life that they considered "sons." She was loved by many and considered all those close to her to be family.
Marsha is survived by her husband of 56 years, Carl Burnham; daughters, Sherie Loverkamp and husband Marvin and Tara Tyler and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Garin Burnham, Tanner Tyler, Caden Tyler, Marvin T.R. Loverkamp. and Marlee Dukek (Jordan); great-grandchildren, Kirk and Skylar Loverkamp; sisters, Lanna Horman (Bruce) and Pam Hubbard; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rueben and Eva June Riepe; and brother, Mark Riepe.

Pallbearers were Garin Burnham, Tanner Tyler, Caden Tyler, Marvin T.R. Loverkamp, Jeff Tyler and Marvin Loverkamp.
