John Wojcicki Obituary
John J. Wojcick, Sr., 93, of Middletown, husband of Helen (Russo) Wojcicki, died Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Middlesex Hospital. He was born in Middletown, the son of the late John W. and Sophie (Forczek) Wojcicki. A veteran of the Korean War, John served with the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Pegasus Manufacturing in Middletown. In addition to his wife of 68 years, he is survived by his daughter, Rosanne Morello and her husband, Paul of Middletown; his son, John Wojcicki Jr., and his wife, Mary Anne, of Dover, Ohio; his daughter, Lynn Ushchak and her husband, Steve, of Middletown; sister, Jeanette Siscavage of Middletown; and twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Eugene and Michael Wojcicki; and sisters, Mary Taylor and Veronica "Vera" Lipinski. His Funeral Liturgy will be held Monday, November 21st, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Middletown. Burial, with military honors, will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown. Those who wish, may send memorial contributions to St. John Paul II School, Middletown; www.jpii.org .
