Terry Foley Obituary

Terry Austin Foley died June 26, 2015 at the age of 70 after a short illness. The cause of death was acute lymphoma.

He was born in Wilmington, Delaware and lived in Middletown, until he graduated from Goldey Beacom College, Washington College for his undergraduate degree and Western New England University School of Law. He was a licensed lawyer in Pennsylvania. He worked at the stock exchange in New York City and in later years for H&R Block.

Terry was a lover of nature, living many years at his parents' farm in Smyrna. He was an avid reader and fascinated with politics. He championed many environmental issues, especially nuclear safety and air pollution.

He is survived by his 93 year-old mother, Virginia Foley and his sister, Carole Coleman, both of Odessa.

Services will be private. Virginia will accept condolences at home.
